MAN United ace Wayne Rooney dressed up as a Teddy Boy last night for a 1950s-themed party.
Red Devils striker Wayne, 26, dashed from his team’s 2-0 victory over Swansea to the glitzy do at Aintree Racecourse.
Wife Coleen, also 26, spent six weeks organising the party as a surprise 50th birthday gift for her mum Colette. All the blokes were told to dress as Teds — in tapered trousers, long jackets, brothel creeper shoes and greased quiffs.
A source said: “Coleen organised every single detail. She chose the food, the DJ and decided on the theme because her mum was born around that era. She’s very close to her mum and wanted to show how much she loves her.“Everyone was delighted Wayne got into the swing of things as well.”
